Hi, my name is Caitee Donovan, and I’m reaching out to ask for support for two of the most genuine, loving people I know—Rachael and Jo-jo Cavarretta.

On July 27, 2025, Jo-jo suffered a minor heart attack that led to a six-hour open-heart bypass surgery. He remained hospitalized for nine days. While we are beyond grateful that he is now home, Jo-jo faces a long road to recovery and will be unable to return to work for at least three months.

That leaves Rachael as the sole provider—not just financially, but physically and emotionally, as she cares for Jo-jo day to day. With the cost of living as high as it is, managing a mortgage, utilities, and basic living expenses on one income is nearly impossible—especially when caregiving is a full-time job in itself.

Jo-jo is truly one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet. The kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. He is a friend to everyone and is deeply loved by all who know him. And if you know Rachael, you know that her love for Jo-jo is immeasurable. She is doing everything she can to hold their world together—and right now, they need us.
