Meet Jojo, the newest member of our Loud Voice Society family—a men’s recovery center in Kamloops. Jojo has already brought comfort, laughter, and healing to our residents, many of whom are working hard to rebuild their lives after hardship.
Sadly, Jojo has been diagnosed with a rare condition called “ocular dermoid” where his eyelashes grow inward and cause excruciating pain
The only way to remedy this is through a specialized surgery which is only offered on Kelowna at the Okanagan Eye Care animal hospital with Dr. Bauer.
As a small nonprofit, this specialized surgery is beyond our usual budget. We’re inviting our community to join us in making it possible for Jojo.
Why Jojo Matters:
Jojo isn’t “just a dog”—he is a source of therapeutic value for our men. He helps them open up, reduces stress, and creates a sense of family and belonging. For men healing from addiction, trauma, and adversity, Jojo is a reminder that love and care are possible.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings Jojo closer to living pain-free—and helps our men keep the furry companion who’s helping them heal.
