TEAM DOUG!
14 years ago Doug Dillard was diagnosed with brain cancer. We thought he had beaten it. But, it has come back more aggressive. Please join TEAM DOUG and help support the Dillard family fight this horrible disease.
ABOUT DOUG & MARYPhoto: Monocle Photography
Doug and Mary Dillard embody the spirit of love, happiness, generosity, and kindness in everything they do. Anyone who has been fortunate enough to meet the Dillards have been blessed by an immediate friendship filled with love and (contagious) laughter. There are no strangers in the Dillard house - just family.
For 30 years Doug served his community as a police officer and detective with the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office. He was widely recognized for his dedication to service and kindness to community.
Outside of their professional lives, Doug and Mary spend countless hours serving those in need. Their caring knows no boundaries. Whether providing food for a hungry family or giving a shelter to those in need, the Dillards always love and serve unconditionally. It's time we return the favor.
ABOUT DOUG'S TUMOR & TREATMENT
Doug has an inoperable brain tumor called a glioblastoma . Brain cancers are extremely difficult to treat and glioblastomas are among the most aggressive tumors. Unfortunately, Doug's is no different. His Neuro Oncologist has Doug on a treatment regimen that includes bi-weekly infusions, daily anti-seizure therapy, and routine MRIs to monitor his brain tumor .
TEAM DOUG'S GOAL
We are going to raise the money to help offset some of his treatment costs, and lessen their financial burden.
We want to show Doug how much we, and his community, love and support him. We are saying, Thank you for being an amazing husband, father, uncle, and friend. Thank you for your service. Thank you for your example.
