Joining Hands for Lily - Manos Unidas por Lily

Hello my Name is Elizabeth and I am raising funds for Lily Longworth. Lily is my cousin. She studied Business administration in a Canadian University and has worked for multinational companies in Costa Rica. Lily faced some difficulties when she was let go of her job at the beginning of 2021 when her department became an independent business. Lily saw this change as an opportunity to start something new. She got a certificate in Teaching English as a second language. Nowadays, Lily takes care of her elderly parents and teaches English lessons to individuals. We are raising funds to help Lily finance surgery to remove the cholesteatoma that formed in her ear. In the last months, Lily has faced expenses in MRIs (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), CAT scans (Computed Tomography Scan) and various dental procedures. After her ear surgery, Lily will face a period of recovery where she will need to pause her English teaching. That's why the funds raised will be put toward the expenses she has faced (CAT scan, MRI, dental procedure) and upcoming expenses such as the rest of the dental procedure, the upcoming ear surgery and covering some of her regular expenses during the recovery period. Lily's ear surgery is scheduled for Monday, September 12th at 8 a.m. Thanks for your generous gift.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Elizabeth y estoy ayudándole a mi prima Lily Longworth a levantar fondos. Lily estudió administración de Empresas en una universidad canadiense y ha trabajado para varias empresas trasnacionales en Costa Rica. Lily enfrentó algunas dificultades a inicios del 2021 cuando fue despedida de su trabajo porque su departamento se independizó. Lily vio esto como una oportunidad para inicir algo nuevo y por eso se certificó en la enseñanza del inglés como segunda lengua. Hoy por hoy, Lily se dedica a cuidar a sus padres que son adultos mayores e imparte lecciones individuales de inglés. Estamos levantando fondos para ayudarle a Lily a financiar una cirugía para extraer un colesteatoma que se formó en su oído. En los últimos meses, Lily ha tenido que afrontar el costo de resonancias magnéticas, tomografías axiales computarizadas y procedimientos dentales. Se espera que después de la cirugía de oído, Lily enfrentará un período de recuperación en el cual tendrá que poner en pausa las lecciones que imparte. Por eso, los fondos que se generen serán de gran ayuda para cubrir gastos previos (TAC, resonancia, procedimiento dental) y para pagar los gastos que se aproximan del resto del procedimiento dental, la cirugía de oído y afrontar los gastos normales durante su recuperación. La cirugía de Lily está agendada para el lunes 12 de septiembre a las 8 a.m. Gracias por tu aporte generoso.
