I am raising money to help support Zyzah Hodgins and her family through her cancer treatment journey. Zyzah lives in the greater State College area, PA, and all funds will go to relieve the financial burden of missed work and travel between home and Philadelphia so Zyzah's family can focus on her fight. Zyzah is a sweet, outgoing, mischievous, and funny eight-year-old. She is the second youngest of five children and is a skilled artist and budding softball player.

On 14 May 2025, Zyzah went to the ER in Mount Nittany, PA, because she was experiencing double vision, head and neck aches, and nausea. Doctors at the ER discovered a mass in her brain and immediately transferred her to Janet Weiss Children's Hospital in Danville, PA, where surgeons acted quickly to remove the mass. Unfortunately, tests revealed that the mass was a medulloblastoma, a malignant brain tumor. Doctors operated a second time to make sure that they had removed all of the tumor in preparation for a treatment plan.

Zyzah will undergo radiation in conjunction with chemotherapy, with six weeks of radiation therapy at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) starting on 1 July 2025. CHOP and Geisinger will be coordinating Zyzah's care, with chemotherapy starting during her second week of radiation.
