Sue Salvador (my salon mama for those of you who don’t know) is truly a blessing in my life and I couldn’t be more grateful for her. Anyone that knows me, knows I’m too stubborn to ever ask for help let alone financial help… my worst nightmare lol. But she’s started a gofundme for my bubbas chemo treatments coming up let me give you guys a little background of his lymphoma and other issues that he has going on right now.

Winston went in for a simple dental cleaning back in January and because they have to go under anesthesia, they do blood work beforehand and his blood work came back abnormal… then bam a lymphoma diagnosis at that time, his cancer was slow progressing and treatment wasn’t even to be considered unless his white blood cell counts get worse. Fast forward to last week I took him in just to get his vaccines updated and asked if they could check his white blood cell levels just to see where he’s at, the vet came back with his results and his levels had sky rocketed way quicker than anticipated and she said she would recommend getting him started on chemo treatment asap otherwise his cancer would take over his life quickly, likely within a couple months. If winston was having cancer symptoms already and his quality of life was affected I’d have to make harder choices… but right now he’s still my happy lively boy and because of that chemo is best able to have a good outcome if started before his symptoms start and with treatment is expected to live a much longer life. Winston is 6 and has so much left in him, it’s not his time to go and I can’t even think about my life without him. He’s my life and I know he’s so loved my many. He doesn’t appear sick at all yet, and I’m going to try my hardest to put him into remission before his symptoms get the best of him and I’ll do anything to give him the best last years of his life. All of his doctors appointments/specialists/treatments/ testing have really put a damper in my finances over the years as I’m a single dog mama and solely responsible for him. Any help is so appreciated and I’ll eternally be grateful. So will Winston ❤️
