My name is Violet. And like so many trans people in this world, I’ve spent years struggling against a system that seeks to erase me. I’ve fought through fear, pain, and rejection just to be seen as who I truly am. Now, with the growing storm of hate and discrimination in the United States, I’m faced with a choice: stay in a place that feels increasingly unsafe, or leave and fight for a future in a country that values my existence.

I’m choosing to leave. And I need your help.

For too long, I’ve watched as protections for trans people vanish, as my rights and safety are stripped away bit by bit. I’ve seen the videos, read the stories… trans women, like myself, killed for simply being in distress, for asking for help, for existing. I can’t sit by and wait for it to be me next. I can’t afford to wait until the laws change, until my life becomes disposable.

I’m taking my future into my own hands and moving to Spain. It’s not just a move; it’s a chance at survival, a shot at living my life on my terms. Spain represents freedom for me… the freedom to live without fear, to embrace my identity openly, and to build a life where I can teach and inspire others, just as I’ve always dreamed.

The decision to leave isn’t easy. I don’t have the resources to make this move on my own. I don’t have the luxury of just packing up and going. There are passports to update, visas to secure, flights to book, and housing to find. All of this costs money and right now, I don’t have it.

Your donation will cover the essentials... the passport, the visa, the relocation, and the cost of setting up a new life in Spain. • Staying Safe: Currently, I live in a state that is proposing and passing legislation that makes it harder to exist as a dignified trans person. Keeping up on certain things can help us stay safe and blend in.

• Building a Platform: I want to create a platform where I can educate, inspire, and give back to others who need hope. Your support will help me reach more people and offer a different narrative—one of strength, survival, and hope.
