Hello Friends and Family,

My name is Valerie Carrillo, and I’m 16 years old. Over the past two years, I’ve been fortunate enough to participate in several mission trips, and these experiences have truly impacted my life. I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of service and the deep connections we can create by sharing love, support, and kindness. These moments have inspired me to continue serving others, and now, I have an incredible opportunity to serve once again!

From March 11-23, 2025, I will be part of a mission trip to Taiwan and Hong Kong with my school’s OLU Missions program. During this trip, we will work closely with teachers and students in local schools, supporting classrooms through lesson planning, performing skits, and even singing!

Our mission will take us to Concordia Taiwan and Concordia Hong Kong, where we’ll engage with students to enhance their learning experience and cultural exchange. This experience will not only allow me to grow in my faith and service but also give me the chance to learn from and understand the rich cultures of Taiwan and Hong Kong.

In order to make this mission trip a reality, I need your support. The funds I raise will help cover my travel expenses, accommodations, meals, and other essentials for the trip. While I’m excited about the chance to serve and learn, I can’t do it without the support of my community—your contributions will make a huge impact.
