Emily and her two beautiful children are now facing the sudden and unexpected expenses after dear husband and irreplaceable father, Ben, passed away on Oct. 4th. For medical costs, funeral costs, and healthcare costs (now and in the future), we are asking for her village to step in and help where it will be needed most.

Ben loved everything Colorado, from hiking, camping, skiing, and the Denver Broncos. He made the best smoked ribs you'll ever enjoy as Emily hosted friends and gatherings. And just when you sit down to enjoy your food you'll find yourself in either a deep theological discussion, key points from the hundreds of books he read, or facts about all things Star Trek. Please keep the Lang family in your prayers as they learn to forge a new path forward without their wilderness expert.

Ben's life celebration service will be Monday Oct 14, 2025, at Family in Christ (11355 Sheridan Blvd. Westminster), at 10:30am.
