My name is Giselle, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my niece, Cinthia, who is courageously battling severe lupus every day.

Cinthia is a devoted mom to two kids (ages 7 and 17). She’s always done everything for her children, but now her health is in crisis. Lupus is life-threatening, causing constant hospitalizations and complications that affect her immune system and organs.

Although her doctor has taken her off work and she’s been unable to work for almost eight (8) months, the state has refused her disability payments, leaving her without any income during the most difficult time of her life.

She’s also lost her car, making it even harder to get to medical appointments and care for her kids. Our family has come together to support her as much as possible, but we have reached a point of desperation. Despite our best efforts, her needs are greater than what we can provide, and seeing her struggle is heartbreaking. The stress from mounting bills is making her condition even worse, and we’re deeply worried for her health and her children’s well-being.

Right now, Cinthia urgently needs help to cover basic living expenses like:

• Rent (currently behind—$3,000)

• Utilities

• Food + household necessities

• Transportation/medical travel costs

• Phone bill

• Medication and health-related expenses

• Support for her children while she’s sick

Even with food stamps, delays mean needs go unmet. The worry and uncertainty are making her health even worse.

Cinthia has always been strong and independent. Now, she needs support to keep her family safe and their home secure.
