Join Us to Support Abraham

If you know my cousin Abraham, you know that he is one of the kindest, most selfless people you'll ever meet. He’s always the first to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, and go out of his way to make sure others are taken care of. Whether it’s at Master Lube on Zaragoza, where he’s a familiar face, or in the community, Abraham has made a lasting positive impact on so many of us. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need—and he’s done so time and time again.

Right now, it’s Abraham who needs us.
In November 2024, Abraham went to the hospital for a hernia surgery he had been struggling with for some time. While the surgery itself was successful, he faced an incredibly difficult recovery. Over the course of his treatment, Abraham underwent seven surgeries, three months of being intubated in the ICU, and multiple ICU readmissions due to post-surgical complications. While he is no longer in critical condition, he is still recovering and recently had to return to the hospital due to complications. He now faces a long road to recovery, including relearning how to walk.

Despite the immense physical and emotional toll this has taken, Abraham continues to remain incredibly strong and resilient. He has recently begun receiving medical coverage, but his financial situation has still taken a significant hit. With his mother, Lynda, by his side every step of the way, the burden is heavy. Lynda, who has been Abraham’s rock throughout this ordeal, is retired and not currently working, making their situation even more challenging.

I am organizing this fundraiser to provide Abraham and Lynda with the support they desperately need. The funds raised will go directly to them to help cover medical expenses, bills, and other essentials as Abraham continues his recovery.

Abraham has touched so many lives with his generosity, and now it's our turn to give back to him. No contribution is too small, and if you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean the world to us.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time. Let’s show Abraham that the community he’s always helped is here for him now.
