Join Us to Save Baby Keerthana

Most people aspire to have kids. One such young couple are Mr. Kishore and Ms. Nagashree, hailing from Mysore, Karnataka. Kishore is a forest officer in India, and he is working hard to save our forests not only for our planet today but for our future generations, providing a better natural habitat and a clean and safe environment on Earth!

After trying for a long time, the couple were blessed with a baby girl, Keerthana. But she is having a very rare genetic disorder, Spinal Muscular Atrophy 2 (SMA2). Kishore and his wife are struggling to get the kid the treatment for SMA2.

The treatment for this costs around 1.9 million USD. Currently, she is undergoing treatment with oral drops and injections costing 5870 USD per month. With surgery, she will have another chance at life. Let us all please come together and do our bit during this challenging time to help this child have a long and happy life!

I am Arpitha Rao, I am extended family for the kid, I live in Austin TX area. The funds raised will be used for the surgery in Baptist Hospital in Bengaluru, Karnataka in India. The funds will be first collected in an NGO we heard about recently, then they will transfer the amount to the parents directly. This will be then paid for the hospital for the baby's treatment.
