We are a group of local activists and politicians working with our community and regional organizations to stop the construction of a 16-building Amazon data center proposed to be built at Wallula Gap, across from the PCA paper mill.

This data center will be located directly adjacent to the McNary Wildlife Refuge and will decimate our local water supplies when our area is already suffering a worsening drought. Other rural communities in the nation have experienced extreme water pollution and water shortages due to such data centers. As residents of Walla Walla County, it is our duty to protect our local natural resources for ourselves and generations to come.

We are asking for donations to support printing of informational materials to be distributed locally to further community education about this Amazon data center build proposal. We urge community members to attend County Commissioner meetings, City Council meetings, and talk with everyone you know about this project that will decimate our local resources.

Please visit our Facebook page and website at wwadcl.com to stay up to date on research, news, and meetings you can attend.
