Join Us to Lighten the Family's Burden. Rest easy Luke

With heavy heart we share the news of the unexpected passing of 24 year old Luke Vandegrift of Nanjemoy this past Saturday September 28th 2024. He will be remembered for his larger than life personality and always had a big smile. Luke served the country, mostly overseas proudly as a Merchant Marine Chief Steward.

His absence will leave a large hole in his family's life; they have lost a son, a brother, an uncle, a nephew and friend. Although they would not ask for themselves, I have started this fund to help with the burden of funeral and other expenses during their time of grief. A burden shared is half a burden. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. All funds raised will go to Luke's mom, Victoria Carey. Thanks
