Join Us to Honor Beloved Teacher Rick Carter

Hi everyone,

As many of you know, our dear friend and colleague Rick Carter—beloved chemistry teacher at Mountain Pointe High School—recently passed away. Rick was not only a dedicated educator but also a kind and generous soul who made a lasting impact on students, staff, and the entire school community.

In the wake of his passing, many of you contributed to the meal train, which was a huge help to Rick’s family during an incredibly difficult time. Thank you for that support—it means so much.

I’m starting this fundraiser to go a step further and help cover Rick’s medical bills and funeral expenses. These costs have added an additional burden to a family already grieving an unimaginable loss. My hope is that we, as the Mountain Pointe and Ahwatukee community, can come together once again to ease that burden—just as Rick was always there for his students and colleagues.
