The M&M Thunder High School team will be hosting a Pink Out game this Friday, February 6th, against Green Bay United in an effort to raise funds for Harlowe, a brave young lady who is battling Batten Disease. Harlowe was diagnosed in 2021 with Late Infantile Batten Disease CLN2. This is an ultra-rare degenerative genetic brain disease (only a little over 300 globally). This disease slowly robs the person of all of their abilities: sight, walking, talking, eating, early onset dementia, and eventually breathing. The life expectancy of a child with CLN2 is 7-12 years old.
In support of our youth hockey association, we would like to ask for your support in donating to their cause in assisting Miss Harlowe and her family during their time of need. The Shamrocks will also be making a monetary donation in conjunction with whatever funds we raise.
