Update for the Mauriello’s 

They were able to get back to the house today. They lost everything but 4 TV’s and 15 wet bags of clothes…

As many know, Hurricane Helene has impacted many people. Our friend, Chris Mauriello, and his family have been severely affected. They lost both cars, which flooded. Everything is soaked and damaged. At this point, they are still determining what is salvageable. The family is safe but exhausted.

The plan is to stay with his parents and take their daughter to a friend's so she can still attend school. Chris’s wife, Tanisha's company, has offered them a house until 10/19. After this, they have no home to return to, and most of their stuff was lost in the flood.

Chris contacted the landlord, who has no insurance, and his renter's insurance doesn’t cover floods.

We hope to raise funds for Mauriello's to have a security deposit for new housing, the ability to get a rental car or fix his flooded vehicles, and the replacement of clothing.

We have known Chris and his family for many years. He would never ask for this, so I'm doing my first GoFundMe for them. Below are the few pictures they have of the damage so far.
