Our beloved Peck family has received some very tough news. The pancreatic cancer Dane fiercely and miraculously beat two years ago has come back with a vengeance.
Dane was recently diagnosed with metastatic recurring pancreatic cancer in the lungs, and began treatment mid-July at The Ohio State University - The James Cancer Center.
As if this diagnosis isn't daunting enough, a move to Southern Ohio a year ago to enjoy nature, precious family time and allow Dane a fresh start post-cancer now requires a 150 mile roundtrip for countless doctor appointments and treatments. Add to that the loss of Bekah's job due to a restructure, which has created additional stress of trying to replace invaluable income while being Dane's primary caregiver and attentive mom to their three year-old son.
Dane fought his previous cancer battle quietly without seeking financial help. While we can't take away his diagnosis, we can all come together to provide financial assistance to allow Dane and Bekah to focus on his treatments and health during this unimaginable storm and continue raising their amazing son together.
Every donation helps.
- $1000 - Medical expenses, procedures and medications not covered by insurance
- $500 - Month’s worth of groceries for the family
- $250 - Month of household essentials
- $150 - One week of childcare
- $100 - Two weeks’ worth of fuel for medical appointment travel
- $50 - One round-trip of fuel for a medical appointment
The Peck family is the epitome of strength, courage and generosity. Any support you can provide would be invaluable as they venture on the inconceivable emotional and financial journey of a metastatic cancer diagnosis while raising a toddler, without friends or family physically nearby, and the sudden and significant loss of income.
Thank you for your support and well wishes for the Peck family. We will provide updates on Dane's progress in beating cancer yet again.
