Join Us: Support Shari After Her Tragic Loss

The team at Brush Run Veterinary Clinic want to come together with our community in support of our long-time coworker and friend, Shari, who is enduring the tragic loss of both her son, Seth, and her daughter, Morgan, only a month apart from each other.

Sadly, Seth was taken from us by a reckless driver on his way home from work on Memorial Day. This loss was already too much to bear, but then even before family and friends could come together for his celebration of life, Shari received the devastating news that Morgan had also passed away. Morgan is survived not only by Shari and other family, but also by her two young children.

Our hearts break for Shari, who has worked alongside us at Brush Run for nearly 10 years as a veterinary technician. She has shown great dedication to our patients and team, and we want to help support her as she grieves the loss of both of her children. To that end, we are starting this GoFundMe to help raise funds for the unexpected funeral expenses for both Seth and Morgan, and to complement our fundraising event that we are holding locally for the same purpose. Please join us in supporting our friend as she works through a deep loss that no parent deserves to ever experience.

We will be holding a fundraising event at our practice location in an effort to compliment this GoFundMe effort on August 10, 2025 from 11am to 4pm. There will be chances to win various gift baskets, a 1 mile dog walk (see below for link to sign up), a bake sale, a 50/50, and various local vendors in attendance. We are excited to engage with our community in support of our friend and colleague!
