Hi my name is Monique. I usually would never resort to something like this but we have hit a point where we have too ask for help. On April 22,2025 I gave birth to our beautiful baby boy Aurelio. He is doing great and is healthy as can be, truly a blessing. Unfortunately for myself it is a different story. We planned to have a regular birth but upon hours of labor and exceeding every option we had to have a c section. The c section quickly became a complete emergency surgery. During labor our baby was basically summer-salting in the womb and wedging himself virtually getting stuck. This made him ass up when they cut me open. If we didn’t opt for the C-section and kept trying the gases in my body were going to start poisoning my son as we were in active labor. I ended up having an emergency c section due to how he was positioned. When they cut open the placenta the baby bursted out breaking the placenta into tiny pieces. They had to t shape cut my uterus. Surgery was done and time for what I thought was going to be a regular recovery. After 6 days in the hospital we were able to leave. Within two days I struck a fever of 100.5 degrees and was rushed to the hospital. When arriving at the hospital and following various tests we where informed that pieces of the placenta was left inside my body and formed an abscess causing an infection. If I waited any longer to come my son would have no mother. I under go another surgery to remove the abscess. This time cutting me belly button down to my c section. They had to make a 6 inch deep incision and guaranteed they got it all. After days of the swelling and infection not going away I underwent another surgery in the same spot creating an L shape. I now am home after 14 days in the hospital with a wound vac. I have a visiting nurse that comes 3 times a week to change the dressings and the canisters. I have a long recovery. This has taken away my ability to breastfeed, care and bond with my son, and everyday live and function. We reached out to this platform because our medical bills, home bills and cost of living has become overwhelming. With my fiancé taking care of me and the baby everything has just piled up. We appreciate everything as this is our last resort. We ask that you keep our story private as not all our family is family and ask for our privacy during all of this. Thank you everyone. Please pray for us!
