We’re reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart to ask for your help. My brother, David, is facing one of the hardest battles of his life — a cancer diagnosis that has challenged him physically and emotionally.

If you know David, you know the kind of person he is — kind, selfless, always willing to lend a hand, give money or share a smile, even on the hardest days. Now, I pray that we can be there for him.

His treatment journey is a walk of faith and endurance and so far has involved a surgery that involved an extended hospital stay, peg tube placement. He will embark on radiation and chemotherapy and this alone is taxing. On top of the emotional and physical toll, the financial impact has been great. He is unable to work, and the bills don’t stop. Just a PET scan alone is $24,000 (TT). Medical expenses, assistance with activities of daily living, transportation, essentials for daily living including food etc.

As family and friends, we want to give David a real chance to heal without the crushing weight of financial stress. It’s about helping him stay in a safe home, continue his treatments, and know that he’s not alone in this fight. No one should have to fight cancer alone, and certainly not while worrying about how they will keep a roof over their head and food on the table.

We are asking for any help you can offer — no amount is too small. Every donation goes directly toward his care, living expenses, and giving him a bit of peace in the midst of this very real storm.
