Join us on the recovery journey of Bob & Sherri

This past week, our father, Bob, suffered a stroke. We quickly noticed his symptoms and were able to get him to the ER to receive a clot buster called TNK. This amazing drug works in your system to help dissolve blood clots in your brain. He remained in the ICU for a couple of days, and he is seeing some healing, which we are so thankful for. To everyone who has prayed for him, we say thank you and to please continue to do so. We are very thankful for a great team of medical professionals who have cared for him while in the hospital.

Due to the residual effects from this stroke, he will need to go to rehab to fine tune his muscle control, and they are very confident that he will. His cognition is intact and has always been, along with his humor (thank God). For anyone who knows Bob, you know you're in for a laugh and an adjustment, and we can't wait for him to be able to return to his passion and see his patients.

Bob is the sole provider for the family, and with his spouse, Sherri, retired, the burden of finances is unavoidable. Just 5 weeks ago, Mom suffered a heart attack and received a stent, and therefore, is also on the mend and making a good recovery. At this time, we are humbly asking for your continued thoughts and prayers, and if it is on your heart to offer some financial assistance, we would be very grateful.

Thank you for your kind words throughout this time of the unknown. God is faithful, and our family is in complete surrender to His will, knowing He always provides. It has been very heartwarming and encouraging, knowing friends from all over the world are praying for our Dad, Mom, and family. It is a strong reminder that the Spirit of God connects us so intricately, and the power of love is so amazing. We know this stroke could have been far more severe and are so immensely grateful and thankful that he has seen some improvement. We are believing in and expecting a full recovery.
