Baby Violet was born with TGA. Transposition of the great arteries and holes in her heart. Her arteries to her heart were switched so she wasn’t circulating oxygenated blood like they were supposed to. They did open heart surgery on 2/10/25 to switch the arteries and close the holes. There will be additional surgeries to close her chest and deal with any complications. Violet has a long road to recovery.

Parents Kyle and Brianna were going back to work as soon as they could after she was born. Mom, Brianna will now need to stay home with her for an undetermined amount of time to give proper care once she leaves the PCICU. Currently parents are staying at the hospital with their first daughter Primrose while baby Violet is going through her surgeries and recovering in the PCICU. This young family needs help with gas and food costs while at the hospital. Help with medical and household bills until they can take baby Violet home and get back to work.
