Hello, my name is Damien Martin, today I am reaching out for your support in a battle that I never anticipated. In August 2023 I was diagnosed with kidney failure, a condition that demands an urgent kidney transplant. This news was a shocking and emotional blow to me, my family and friends.

For 7 months I was able to fight by changing my diet and lifestyle, doing anything to slow the progression of the disease. But unfortunately as of March of this year I was placed on dialysis, a medical process that is taxing on my body and energy, making it hard for me to work. Over these past few months I was able to pay for my bills and groceries with the help of my family and money I had saved. Sadly, I have nearly exhausted all that I had, so this gofundme was created to alleviate the financial stress all this has brought up.

I need to focus on myself and my health rather than the financial burdens this new life has come with. Every dollar will make things easier.
