My name is Eric McVicker, and I’m a Louisiana-based photographer and filmmaker creating Louisiana: Our Home — a cinematic wildlife documentary that tells the story of this state through its land, water, and the animals that have shaped it for generations.
This campaign is about more than raising funds. It’s about building a base of community supporters — people who believe Louisiana’s story deserves to be told with care, integrity, and cinematic quality.
By contributing, you become part of the founding community helping bring Louisiana: Our Home to life. Most community supporters are contributing in the $10–$25 range, and every contribution helps move the project forward and strengthens the audience behind it.
This project is already underway and supported by major sponsors and partners. I’m raising funds now to help complete the final stages of production, including additional wildlife filming, post-production editing, sound design, and distribution preparation.
Every contribution helps move the film forward and strengthens the audience behind it — ensuring this story reaches the world with the respect it deserves.
