Join Us in Supporting Whitney and Oden

We ask for your prayers.

As most of you already know that on the afternoon of July 1st, my sister Whitney and my nephew Oden were involved in a serious MV collision. Whitney was life flighted to KU Med, where she is critical but stable condition. She has many many serious critical injuries that will take months to recover from. Whitney is also 24 weeks pregnant with Baby H. Following her stay at KU, she more than likely will be headed to Madonna in Lincoln Nebraska to further accommodate her head injuries . At this time we are requesting no visitors from the guidance at KU as Whitney’s body and head need to rest and have the most quit environment possibly.

Oden was flown to Children’s Mercy and is currently in stable condition and is at home with family now.

We don’t have many answers yet, but we do know the power of prayer. Please join us in lifting them up in the Lord’s name. We will share updates as we receive them.

Many people have reached out to ask how they can help, right now the future is so unknown, but what we do know is that Oden still needs cared for, Whitney still has her apartment and the bills associated there with it, and that with many long hospital stays, travel back and forth to the hospital, hotel accommodations, meals, and other unexpected costs, that financially this can become very difficult. As stated before many of you have asked how you can help — and right now, any assistance toward these expenses would mean the world to us.

If you feel led to contribute, no amount is too small. Every donation goes directly toward travel, lodging, food, and other expenses so we can continue being present and focused on Whitney’s recovery. If you’re not able to give financially, we truly appreciate your prayers, messages of support, and simply sharing this message with others.
