Join Us in Supporting the Ortiz Family

Good afternoon,

I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of the Ortiz Family. Paula and Damas have been facing lots of doctor appointments within these last few years. But nothing like this one. All of a sudden, the world has turned around on us. Grandpa has been complaining about his leg, so his wife brought him to the hospital on February 12th. We found out his foot wasn’t getting the proper blood circulation. The doctors tried to do a surgery, but grandpa's leg didn’t take it. They tried working with him and having some blood thinner medicine run through his body, hoping that would help. Sadly, there wasn’t much improvement. Today, we're facing amputation on his right leg. With this being said, there are a lot of things we will need to do.

We need help with doctor bills and also home improvements to bring this man back home to his roots. We will be trying to widen some doors in the house and make the bathroom more wheelchair accessible.

This family never has asked anybody for anything and it’s hard on them I want us to join together to bless them in this hard time!
