Join us in supporting the wonderful Huensch Family as they face an uncertain future following Emily’s recent brain cancer diagnosis. Justin and Emily live with their three children in St. Louis, MO. Justin is a pastor, Emily is a counselor, and they are beloved by so many across the whole country. Over the week of Thanksgiving, Emily’s speech began to deteriorate, and then she lost function in her right arm and hand. At the ER, doctors discovered a cancerous growth in her brain. Just a few days later, Emily underwent brain surgery to remove what they could. The Huensch’s have since learned that her cancer is aggressive: high-grade Astrocytoma. Emily will begin chemotherapy and radiation treatments in the coming weeks. Although both Justin and Emily’s employers have been incredibly generous and supportive as Emily faces this battle, we want to help the Huensches to have some flexibility in their spending, while also providing the best medical care possible for Emily during this time!
