Dear friends and family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Genaro Alaniz/Guzman passed away last night. While we grieve his loss deeply, we also rejoice in the hope we have in Christ — knowing that Genaro is now fully healed and at peace in the presence of our Savior.

This season has been one of immense sorrow, but also of unshakable faith. The Alaniz family is heartbroken, yet comforted by the truth that Genaro’s story doesn’t end here. We believe he is more alive now than ever before — held in the arms of a loving God.

As the family begins to process this loss and prepare for memorial and burial arrangements, we are continuing to raise funds to help ease the financial burden of this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity, prayers, and words of encouragement have meant more than we can say.
