Many of you know Shawn Smalley. A man of integrity, honesty, compassion, positivity, and faith. In the past few weeks, Shawn has been diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer. An aggressive cancer that has spread outside of his colon to his lymph nodes and various parts of his body. In a recent procedure that was done last week. Part of his colon, Along with a tumor, 33 lymph nodes, and multiple cancerous nodules, were removed. This is just the beginning. A pat scan will be done soon to confirm where else the cancer has spread. With Chemo treatments starting in the near future. Jesus has shown his hand in so many ways through this trial. Miracles happen. That’s what we are praying for. Shawn is a husband, a father of eight, a papa, and a friend. Many of you have gotten to know him. Whether it was when you walked through the doors of church and were looking for a friendly face. Or while he was a leader of youth group showing teens Jesus. A Sargent in Montana highway patrol. A commissioner for Mineral County. Or a faithful friend. He has touched the lives of many. Expenses are stacking up. Between travel, chemotherapy, surgeries, scans, labs, Doctor visits, etc. Life is expensive. If it’s on your heart to support Shawn and his family.
