This Go Fund Me is the first time I’ve ever made an ask on this platform. I know it has been a miracle for many, and we pray for another with this post. This is for the benefit and well being of our great friend Rich Lewis in Washington DC. Mike Freeman, Glen Wiley and I are asking for your kind generosity to help Rich through some very difficult times. Rich is well known for his generosity and selfless giving of both time and treasure including packing homemade lunches for the homeless, serving in various volunteer positions at his church, the Cathedral of St. Michael the Apostle in DC and his support of various local and other charities- such as Legacy Community Health in Houston.

Rich had some severe medical setbacks last year right after losing his mom. Then, with the changing business climate in DC, he lost his job several weeks ago. I personally know he works every day applying for many jobs, interviewing and networking. He doesn’t give up easily! But now, he also must find a new place to live, as his lease is not being renewed for his apartment in DC, another unwelcome expense. So, his friends have joined together to recognize Rich needs our help just to pay for every day expenses like food and rent. In addition to your treasure, we ask for your prayers and blessings to support our dear friend, Rich Lewis.

No amount is too small, but I’m proud to say that Mike, Glen and I are starting out the fun with contributions of $500 each for a total of $1500!
