Hi, we are Elizabeth and Tony Vang and live in beautiful Ocala, FL. We have the pleasure of being neighbors to George and Jean Zuccari. They have been married over 50 years and are just a pleasure to be around. George is going to be celebrating his 90th birthday this year and is a disabled veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps. Jean is 85 and is the sole caretaker for George. They have lived here in Ocala for 20 years and have raised a wonderful family.

George has been diagnosed with dementia and Jean currently had cataract surgery in one eye and is now having to do a second surgery for the other eye as well. Recently, they have had a few emergencies that have taken a toll on them financially. They are on a small fixed income monthly and are in need of some help. They have one car, a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe, that has seen better days. Jean was driving to run errands and her car broke down. She had to tow it home and is now in need of finding someone to service her car. They did not have enough financial resources to cover the emergency expenses and are now forced to be unable to pay for their utilities so they could have a working car. Tony helped them get their car running free of charge but found that the car is in dire need of more extensive repairs. The car does not have working air conditioning, and that is a must-have in this Florida summer heat. It also has an electrical short of some kind that is causing mechanical lights to come on alert. It also affected the power windows from working properly and the headlights will not turn on. The list of issues continues and will become a very costly expense that both George and Jean are not able to cover financially. They need a new car but they are not able to afford a new one on their fixed income. The neighborhood has done a tremendous job in helping them but they ultimately need to have a working vehicle for doctor's appointments, running errands, and the peace of mind that they will not be stranded again. They are in need of some financial help to get them through this unexpected emergency and we know the graciousness of your donations will help them get there. All proceeds will be given directly to the Zuccari Family to help them pay for their utilities and fix their car.
