My niece, Nevaeh, was in a tragic accident on Sunday that required her to be transported to St. Christopher's Hospital's pediatric ICU after a fall off a motorized scooter. Nevaeh was found to have multiple injuries to her brain and skull. We are so grateful that she is now stable, but her family is burdened by medical bills and the cost of continued care as they start their transition out of the ICU.

During this time, Nevaeh has been requesting both her parents by her side, in which her dad will not be paid for as he continues to stay home from work to be with her. They are also over an hour from home and have two other younger children and have been commuting. I'm asking for help from the community so that neither of them have to rush back to work and can continue to give Nevaeh all the support she needs. Even when Nevaeh goes home, she will not be able to be without an adult for a while and will need extensive follow-up care. Nevaeh is an awesome kid who is very involved in her school and community. Please help give Nevaeh and her family some peace of mind during this tragic time, even if it's just in prayers!
