近日我们华人社区发生了一起令人难过的事件。一位华人女士被街坊邻居家的狗突然冲出门口后被严重咬伤，造成手指缺失，对她的身体和心理都造成了巨大创伤。

狗的主人 Joe 是一位善良的长者，他深感愧疚和悲痛。那只狗是他唯一的陪伴，然而事件发生后，他的狗已被动物管理所人道毁灭处理。Joe 接受失去唯一的伙伴，也对这位华人女士真诚地表达了歉意，并愿意承担医疗费用和责任。但由于他收入微薄，正在承受沉重的经济压力。

这个募款活动的初衷，是希望通过社区的关爱与支持，帮助两位受影响的人：Ms. L 女士还在医院接受治疗康复，而 Joe 希望尽己所能弥补过错。

Recently, a Chinese woman was seriously injured when a neighbor’s dog unexpectedly ran out of the house and bit her. She tragically lost part of her finger and is now enduring a long and painful recovery.

The dog’s owner, Joe, is a kind elderly man who is heartbroken by what happened. The dog was his only companion and has since been put down. Joe has expressed deep remorse and wants to take full responsibility, but he lives on a limited income and is under serious financial strain.

We’re asking our community to come together in support of both sides. All donations will go directly to Ms. L to assist with her medical recovery.
