Join Us in Supporting Mr. Wright's Medical Journey

Hello Discovery family. One of our own teachers is in need of assistance as he navigates and begins his medical journey. In his own words he describes his condition:

I am sure some of you notice that I haven't been at the school, this is because I have been very very sick. I have a condition called Crohn's disease that I have been recently diagnosed with. It makes ulcers populate throughout my GI Tract. The form of Crohn's I have also has given me arthritis and abcesses. I have had to take a leave of absence to get a handle on this disease, I have a couple procedures lined up and hopefully an IV medication to make me better. It will take time and I appreciate y'alls thoughts in this time.
