It is with a heavy heart that I share the unexpected news that our dear friend, Melissa Suarez has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

A devoted mother, daughter, friend, partner, and coworker, she’s always there to offer a kind word, a listening ear, or an uplifting prayer to anyone in need. Her positivity, strength, and generosity of spirit are unmatched, and she has a way of making everyone feel seen and loved.

This diagnosis came as a shock to all of us, as it was completely unexpected. In the past few weeks, Melissa has bravely undergone a double mastectomy and a left axillary sentinel lymph node biopsy procedure. While her strength and resilience are undeniable, the road to recovery will be a long and difficult one, filled with medical expenses, treatments, and other unforeseen expenses.
