Hi, my name is Jessica, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my mom and stepdad during an incredibly difficult time for our family.

Last Friday, after leaving a concert at the Rose Bowl, my stepdad suffered a devastating accident. He fell in the parking lot, hitting his head on a car, which led to cardiac arrest. He was rushed to Huntington Hospital, where he has been intubated and under intensive care ever since.

After numerous tests, we received heartbreaking news—he has a complete spinal injury at his C3/C4 vertebrae. Doctors have told us that he will likely never walk again and may never fully breathe on his own.

Our world has been turned upside down. My mom has been by his side at the hospital every single day, and with him unable to work—and likely unable to return to work—this has placed an overwhelming financial burden on them both.

We are reaching out for support to help cover mounting medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and everyday bills as they navigate this new reality. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to our family. Even sharing this page can help us reach others who may be able to lend a hand.
