Join Us in Supporting Lisa's Treatment Journey

Hello, my name is Brittany and the past nine days have been a whirlwind of stress and uncertainty for my family and me. My beautiful mother, Lisa, was told nine days ago by her primary doctor at her yearly physical that she is severely anemic and that an issue that my mom brought up to him may be cancer. Since then, my mom has had two blood transfusions, multiple blood tests, multiple scans, has seen a specialist for a biopsy to be done, and as of this morning, seen an oncologist.

The oncologist is hopeful to do surgery sometime next week right after Christmas, then get started with chemotherapy and radiation soon after.

This is great news! However, we were not expecting it to happen so quickly and it’s been a rough year for us as it has been for many. That is why I am starting this GoFundMe. The appointments for my mom are about 65 miles away (one way). There is a small list of things that I would like to get to make her as comfortable as possible after surgery and during her treatments. I would also like to help with my mom’s rent if possible.
