Dear Friends and Family,

On behalf of the team here at Jay’s Catering, we’re reaching out to ask for your support for our beloved team member, Lance, who has recently received some devastating news. On February 17th, 2025, Lance went to the emergency room after not feeling well and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Rectal Cancer. Since then, he has been experiencing constant exhaustion throughout the day and pain that worsens at night making his days difficult and nights long. He has already begun undergoing chemotherapy with possible radiation to follow as part of his treatment plan.

Lance has been a dedicated catering server and event captain at Jay’s Catering for over 11 years. He is not only an incredible teammate, but also warm, kind, and reliable at every event putting a smile on every face he interacts with.

Outside of work, Lance is a passionate musician, known for his love of singing and playing the piano. He is a proud father to his daughter, EveAnne, who is expecting her first baby this September, and a loving stepfather to Laura.

This diagnosis has been emotionally and financially overwhelming for Lance and his family. He will be facing significant financial expenses due to medical bills and hospital stays. Our goal is to raise funds to help ease this burden so Lance can focus on healing.
