Join Us in Supporting Jerry's Memorial Service

As much as it hurts me to share this news, I just wanted to let everyone know that Dad/Jerry passed away Sunday afternoon. He was an amazing father/grandfather/uncle and devoted husband.

Jerry Fontenot is a loving father, grandfather, and uncle. He loves spending time with his family and fishing with his friends. He recently lost his wife and best friend less than half a year ago.

Three weeks ago, he was admitted into Cabrini Hospital with a blood clot in his arm. They were able to remove that blood clot, but while recovering in the ICU, the doctors found another clot in his leg. After several unsuccessful procedures, he unfortunately had to have his right leg amputated above the knee. We have learned that he has a genetic blood disease that causes the blood to clot. Most of his remaining extremities have sustained damage from restricted blood flow. He has a hard mental and physical battle ahead of him.
