Join Us in Supporting Hockey Fights Cancer

My hockey team, the infamous Maple Leafs Red of Piney Orchard Adult League, is raising funds to donate to Hockey Fights Cancer. We are supporting the efforts of our good friend Amy Babst, who battled and beat cancer while pregnant with her daughter years ago. She is now a champion for HFC. I have personally lost three cherished friends to the disease: Chet, Heidi, and Hobie. Many other friends and loved ones have battled cancer, including Cheryl, Margaret, Chick, Mike, Rome, and other friends. Importantly, the mother of one of my Leafs teammates is right now in a difficult battle with cancer.

Funds raised in support of Hockey Fights Cancer help the American Cancer Society (ACS) and Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) support people affected by cancer, their families, and caregivers.

If anyone is willing and able to help us raise funds that will support Amy's efforts, it would be deeply appreciated. The donations will be added to the funds she has already raised for HFC this year. If this isn't the right fit for your charitable efforts, we still love you!
