Hello everyone, this is Hannah Cramer's work family. We've known Hannah for a couple of short but fun and endearing years. She quickly became a genuine member of our team and part of our hearts. Hannah has spent her entire adult life dedicated to caring for so many, from newborns to the elderly, from their first breaths to their medical traumas. Now we'd like to help her through hers- a nasty fight with a nasty kind of cancer.

After feeling pain in her breast and finding a lump four months ago, doctors told her she had cancer, then they told her she has Stage 2 triple-negative invasive ductal carcinoma (TNBC).
Plain words: One of the worst breast cancers to have.
TNBC is less common and more aggressive than other types of breast cancer. The tumors generally grow quicker and spread through the body quicker. TNBC also doesn't respond as well to chemo as other breast cancers, so it tends to have a worse prognosis. And there's a higher chance this kind of cancer returns in the first few years after treatment.
On top of that, doctors told her she carries the BRCA 1 gene mutation, putting her at a "significantly increased" risk of ovarian cancer.
Add it all up, she's looking at one year of chemo and immunotherapy, multiple surgeries, and all the follow-on treatments that come with the diagnoses.
She started chemo in May, it continues until November when she breaks to undergo a double mastectomy. Then it's back to chemo, followed by more surgeries for reconstruction, and to have her ovaries removed.
Hannah worked two jobs up to last month, but had to give one up due to the risk for infection which caused her a brief hospitalization. Her partner Michael has been great, managing the house, getting the kids around, and going to all of her appointments. But there aren't enough hours in the day and there isn't enough money for him to do it all.
Their families are hugely loving, but out of state.
Despite all of the testing, procedures, and the side effects of chemo, Hannah has remained so positive and steadfast in her commitment to us, her patients, and her family. She doesn't have enough paid time off to cover the months of treatment, surgeries, and recovery, while trying to cover what are going to be enormous medical bills, and support her children.
She needs help, and we'd like to get her as much help as possible.
