Emily's Terminal Cancer Journey

As most of you know, Emily's cancer is terminal. She is currently doing a maintenance chemo and will soon start a clinical trial that will help give her time. Emily is wanting to go on a trip this summer with her family to Disney World. We are hoping to help raise enough money to pay for their trip. Any donation is so appreciated!

Emily began experiencing abdominal pain and vomiting on August 17, 2024, which led her to the ER. After testing was completed, Emily was diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer that has also spread to her liver and lymph nodes.

Emily has a very long road ahead of her which will include an invasive form of chemo and surgery.

Emily is an incredible mom, wife, employee, and friend. She is always giving back to her community and is constantly lending a helping hand to anyone that needs it. She and her husband Dusty are always helping others. It's now our turn to help them. As we all know, medical bills add up very quickly and I'm hoping this can help relieve some of their stress which will allow them to focus more on Emily's health and children.

Please pray for Emily has she undergoes first surgery on Tuesday 8/27/24. I will post more updates as they become available.

8/27/24: Update from Dusty...She is out of surgery and recovering. She did great!

9/7/24: Update- Update: Emily and Dusty met her oncologist on 9/5. She will begin chemo on 9/18. Their insurance has been cleared and Emily was accepted to MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. Her first appointment there is on October 4th and they will have to be there for 3 to 5 days.

Please keep sharing, the last thing I want is them to worry about money as they start their Houston journey. Most importantly, keep praying for Emily!
