Ellen Vogler had a spontaneous and severe heart attack on July 6, 2024. Emergency services responded quickly, but it took a long time to revive her, and she was later airlifted to a hospital in the next county over. After emergency surgery, she was placed on life-support. The family experienced every emotion you can imagine, and family and friends continued to pray for a miracle. Ellen was eventually moved to hospice and passed away on July 22, 2024. In the words of her husband Kurt, we didn’t need to pray for a miracle, she was the miracle.

Ellen was the key to keeping their family of eight on schedule. Whether it was school events, extra curricular activities or just going out as a family, she made it happen. She is survived by her husband, Kurt Vogler and children, Nathan, Alaina, Ava, George, Cecilia and Michael.
