Join Us in Supporting Coach Weller's Fight

My name is Vallery Coleman Shoe, board member of the Gary Weller Foundation and fellow Trojan class of 1988.

Many of you may be unaware of Coach Weller's current medical condition. It all began with an infection in May. He was at UNC-Chapel Hill. After being home for four days, he had a GI bleed and was admitted to Cape Fear. Upon being released from rehab and home for another four days, he had a severe stroke. He was then admitted to Autumn Care. There was an undocumented occurrence that left him with two broken femurs. He is now scheduled for surgery Tuesday and Thursday in Wilmington. After surgery, he will be transported to a skilled nursing facility of the family's choice.

We all recognize the fact Coach is a fighter and together we will all pray for a complete healing, mentally and physically.

Family, friends, and fellow Trojans want to help! Coach and Mrs. Weller, when asked, the answer was, "No, we will be okay." Trojans don't take that! We want to help...prompting this GoFundMe. Medical bills alone will be astronomical. Not to mention hotel stays, traveling expenses, and food, to name a few of the additional unexpected expenses that Mrs. Weller will incur. Together we can help!
