Join Us in Supporting Chris in His Fight Against Cancer
On March 18, our lives began to drastically change. After many ER visits, test after test, blood transfusion after another, the words you never want to hear were said.
After the heartbreaking news that my husband, Christopher, has cancer and needed lifesaving radical surgery, he dug deep in this faith and faced it head on because we all know in and out of the ring, HE NEVER BACKS DOWN FROM A FIGHT!
A man of faith, love, and resilience, Chris/DJ/Don Juan/The MegalaDon Juan/Christian Valenz/Ann Dromeda/one half of the best Tag Team in Texas, The Texas Treats, he has many names (IYKYK), has dedicated his life to lifting others—whether being a secret superhero, inspiring aspiring pro wrestlers as the Character Development Coach at the Hybrid School of Wrestling, or ensuring that patients labs are safely transported all throughout the city as a courier with University Health.
Chris has had his highs and lows. Through it all, by the grace of God, he has faced every obstacle with unwavering strength and the same charisma he teaches his Hybrid students to showcase in and out the ring-the smiles, the jokes, the intensity, the strength to beat all the obstacles ahead.
Chris is more than a coach, a wrestler, or a husband—he’s the kind of person who wants everyone around him to thrive and feel “agape love”, like we do each and every day. He believes in people, in their success, and in their happiness.
As one can imagine, medical expenses, treatments, and recovery costs continue to grow, and we humbly ask for your help in easing this financial burden. Every donation, no matter the size, is a lifeline in his fight against cancer. If you’re unable to give, we completely understand, and would appreciate you simply sharing this campaign and keeping him in your thoughts and prayers.
My husband is a warrior, but even warriors need a strong team behind them in battle. Thank you for standing with us in this challenging time. We love you all!!!
And don’t forget, He’s Da Bessst!
With love and gratitude,
Felicia Niño-Valenzuela
“Highs and lows
Lord, You're with me either way it goes
Should I rise or should I fall?
Even so
Lord, Your mercy is an even flow
You're too good to let me go”
