Hi everyone.

Our amazing Beutler friends need some help.

Here's the message from Ernie:

To our loved ones, family, friends, community, and those who don't know us but receive this GoFundMe request from someone you know.

In the middle of the night Sunday, our son (and son of the late Louis Menara), Caleb, unexpectedly suffered a nearly fatal grand mal seizure that lasted six times longer than a normal seizure. Had it not been for quick action, we may be writing an entirely different GoFundMe.

Caleb was rushed to Portage Hospital, where he was intubated because he was not able to breathe properly on his own. By Monday afternoon, he was airlifted to the University of Michigan hospital. He is there now and will be for the foreseeable future. They have been running a multitude of tests with no real answers. Caleb still has continued seizure activity and seriously irregular heart activity.

Thankfully, the doctors have been able to get his seizures and breathing under control enough to be taken off of the ventilator, but the road ahead is unmarked. Having never been on the receiving end of a GoFundMe, the need is humbling and overwhelming. Travel, food, medical, and missed work have already started to stack up. Any help, kind words, thoughts, and prayers are appreciated.
