My dad, Bill Lay, was diagnosed with colon cancer in October of 2023. He has since undergone two surgeries and 6 months of chemo fighting this illness. He is now on immunotherapy to help continue to fight this cancer. Unfortunately this immunotherapy is extremely specialized and expensive. His medicine is $14,000 per month, and thankfully insurance is covering $12,000 of that per month. This leaves him with $2,000 per month for 1 life saving medication. We are looking for help from the community to assist in covering this large medication cost. The first treatment cycle is 3 months, so our goal is to get close to $6,000.
