Our friend ,sister, daughter and cousin Bertha needs our help. Bertha, is a single mother of 2 wonderful, generous and smart young men, Benjamin (21) and Jackson (17). She moved to IL to be closer to family and give her son’s the best life she could. She approaches everything with a genuine heart for service, and a passion for helping others succeed. Outside of working, Bertha enjoys traveling, loves to cook and bake for her family and friends. However number her number 1 love is being a mom which she does with grace and humility.

Recently Bertha suffered a stroke and is currently in the hospital. Right now, instead of giving help as she does without question, she is in need of help. She has been in the hospital for weeks and currently cannot swallow. With the a long road of recovery ahead, we are joining together as a family to support her with the health costs that come along with the long period of healing and care.
