Meet Bella, a vibrant and resilient child who brings joy to everyone she meets. Bella faces the daily challenges of being wheelchair-bound and has been diagnosed with Agenesis of the corpus callosum (ACC). This is a condition present at birth where the corpus callosum, the structure connecting the two sides of the brain, is partially or completely absent. To enhance her quality of life and support her posture, Bella urgently needs a specialized chair designed for children with special needs.

Behind Bella’s bright smile is her devoted mother, Bernadette—a beacon of kindness and compassion in our community. She is the mom who selflessly gives to other families, offering support and understanding without ever asking for anything in return. In her professional life, she serves as a peer mentor, guiding others with empathy and dedication. Her unwavering commitment to helping those around her exemplifies the true spirit of community.
